math

ok, i'm sorry people, i seem to constantly be blogging about cookies. i'm not obsessed or anything...

i just wanted to rant a little aboout how life is sooo unfair...which, i'm hoping will keep me from putting more cookies in my mouth.

you see, my skinny bro bought 2 boxes of 24 cookies. (2 x 24 =48 cookies.) i've had 4 total over the last 2 days.

he just opened box #2 and ate 6. meaning, he has..(so far)...eaten 26 cookies.

26 cookies x 5 points each=130 points.

130 POINTS!!!????

and that's just the cookies...he's also had 5-6 cans of regular coke, a STEAK, 2 yogurts and chicken and rice...

sigh. he still weighs less than me and is 6 feet tall.

boo.

(ok, enough whining. i'll go chew on my sugar free gum and get over it)

Boooo on brothers! I'm kidding, of course. I have 3 brothers and 2 of them can eat whatever they want. I have the tall and very thin variety of brother who can eat whatever, and then the muscular brother who can eat whatever he wants...and then there is the computer gamer brother who lives on coke and hot pockets and shoudl probably cut down.

Math does not exist for those people.

I'm so sorry, Meg. That just sucks rotten eggs. Not that I wish him to be in the same boat with the rest of us, but the chances of him being able to eat as he likes past age 30 are less than zero. He should enjoy it while it lasts. That said, I would have at least liked to have known what it was like, if only for a little while. I've never been able to eat like that, either.

Chin up!

SO unfair. SO SO SO unfair.

Maybe someday it'll catch up to him when he's 45 and has a big ol'gut. (ok. I have to stop laughing at that image...) ahem. yeah. that'll probably never happen.

First yeah that sucks. Second you can't compare the 2 of you. yeah you're related but the differences are more than the similarities. He's a boy. they just can do that when they're young. it will catch up to him and then he'll be asking you for advice. but not for a long time so don't wait for it. third even if he can do that and not gain weight. it's still not healthy. that much fat and sugar and whatever else is bad. you don't want to eat like that. trick yourself if you have to and pretend you don't want any of it for the "health" reasons (not the fat ones)
fourth - we need a goal # of pounds lost for the Christmas challenge. that's how we're tracking it. 10 is popular but not required.
